How much lead time is necessary for orders?

Large special-occasion cakes and sugar-flower arrangements generally require at least a 1- month lead time. Depending upon the complexity and size of other orders we may be able to accommodate requests with as little as two weeks’ notice.

Do you ship your products?

Due to the fragile and custom-design nature of our products, we are unable to ship our cakes or flowers.

Do you deliver?

Absolutely! We are happy to deliver your cakes and sugar flowers for a nominal fee. Charges will be determined based on distance from our Emerson, NJ location.

How do I place an order?

Simply contact us by email or phone to discuss your cake vision and, if you would like, to set up a consultation for you and one guest. We will gladly meet with you to discuss the details of your event. A 50% deposit and a signed contract are required to finalize your order. Final payment is due two weeks prior to your event date.

If you would like to sample our cakes and fillings, a $50 tasting fee will be charged for a tasting session of  two cake and two filling flavors, presented in two small cakes for you to take home. The tasting fee will be applied to the total cost of your order, as long as you commission SophistiCakes, LLC within two months of your tasting.
